Pre & Post Natal Training For Women

Forme Fitness has helped many female clients to both remain fit and active during their pregnancies, and regain their pre-pregnancy figures afterward.

There are many benefits to exercising during pregnancy, and exercise is safe for pregnant women, as long as certain precautions are followed. The goal of exercise during pregnancy should be for preparing your body for the impending birth, and for keeping yourself fit and healthy, which also keeps your baby healthy.

BEFEFITS OF EXERCISE IN PREGNANCY

  • Maintenance of muscular strength, aerobic fitness and keep energy levels high
  • Specific Muscle conditioning work will improve overall posture, which will help reduce backache etc
  • Improvements in circulation
  • May help avoid unnecessary weight gain and reduce risk of fluid retention
  • Can help speed up post pregnancy recovery
  • Helps to regulate fluctuating hormones and moods, and helps to maintain self-esteem

Our clients found that exercising during their pregnancy benefited not only their physical health & energy, but their emotional health too. Hormonal imbalances in the body are a natural result of pregnancy. This can lead to feeling irritable, tired, and even weepy at times. Exercise can help your body to regulate hormones so that you can experience less of these feelings, and instead experience more feelings of well being and happiness.
