Pilates is a unique approach to exercise that develops body awareness, improves and changes posture and alignment, and increases flexibility and mobility. Pilates helps reduce stress levels by bringing focus to deeper breathing, control of movement and concentration in the execution of exercises. As it helps draw the body back into balance, by lengthening tight muscles and strengthening weaker muscles, you will notice an increase in energy as the body learns to be more efficient in movement. It will increase your core strength, strengthen the muscles in your lower back, flatten your tummy and tighten your waistline!
Our Pilates sessions (private & group training) are mat-based classes, using small props such as the Flexi-Band, Toning Ball, Fitness Circle, Foam Roller, Stability Ball, Bosu Balance Trainer, Mini-Flex Ball, Arc Barrel & SPX Max STOTT Reformer.

Courses / 1-2-1 Pilates training are available for the following:
Post Natal Pilates – Re- strengthen & tone muscles. Matwork Pilates suitable for women from 6 weeks post-partum, following a normal delivery (i.e. non-caesarian).
Beginners Level 1 – Learn the Principles of Pilates while learning a sequence of exercises designed to develop core strength & improve joint mobility in the shoulders, spine and hips. This is the Foundation course for Improvers Level 1. Mat-based class.
Improvers Level 1 – for those who have completed at least 1 course of Beginners Level 1. Further develop core strength & joint mobility while improving flexibility. Mat-based workouts with the introduction of props such as the Toning Ball ™ Fitness Circle ™ and Mini Stability Ball ™ .
Intermediate Level 2 – Intermediate Repertoire in mat-work, with increased challenge to core strength & stability with exercises performed on the Stability Ball, BOSU.
Advanced Level 3 - Intermediate & Advanced Repertoire Mat-work. Maximize strength, flexibility & endurance. Develop precision of movement and fine tune your balance & control skills. Previous experience at Intermediate level is essential for this course.
Back Care Pilates - a Mixed Level mat-based course for Beginners, Level 1 & Level 2. This course features stretching & strengthening workouts to help develop back strength & spinal stability. Reduce Lower Back stress & Shoulder tension while improving posture & alignment.
Pilates with Props - Mixed Level [no beginners] course. Using props such as Flex-Band™ , Foam Roller, Fitness Circle ™ and Stability Ball for a challenging and energising workout! Achieve whole-body conditioning and toning while improving core stability.
Men’s Fitness Pilates - Learn to properly identify the core muscles & the muscles that support them. Perform exercises to help develop flexibility in the lower back, hips and hamstrings, while building core stamina & endurance for improved athletic / sports performance.
1-2-1 Reformer Training - Private classes offering individuals personalised programmes catering for their posture and specific training concerns. Postural Analysis and supplementary home programme is included. [view pdf]
